An older couple, C.N. and Tarabai Madanraj, had a conversation. I was not there so this is only my conjecture.
C.N. "It seems so unreal. Is Puppy really gone?"
Tarabai: "Yes, my beloved husband. We had the party, remember?"
C.N. "Oh, yes, I remember. We buried our beloved dog called Puppy and hosted a feast for our neighbors and friends to celebrate his life. It was a magnificent funeral."
Tarabai: "Yes it was. But I am still sad. I miss Puppy so much. Though I still have friends and you, my husband, I miss Puppy so much that my existence has lost all meaning."
C.N. "I agree, Tarabai. We should hang ourselves and end it all."
Tarabai: "Great idea."
So they did.
