Candyland: It's not just a Game

We had some rather strange candy bars when I was growing up. I think one of them was called "Mt. Bars". No clue who made them, but they must have made a lot of them because I seem to recall they were 4 for a buck when I was growing up and as recently as about a year ago, High School Pharmacy in St. Helens was selling them for a quarter apiece. For the less astute mathematicians out there, that equals 4 for a buck. And judging by the peanut butter flavored one I mistakenly attempted to consume and its level of staleness, they were probably made for the original sale and have been sitting in a back room somewhere for 25 years waiting for someone to get nostalgic for them and go back to eating them.
We also, on occasion, had Idaho Spuds. Yes, that is the name of a candy bar. And it is also the focus of a bit of writing that had me pretty close to tears I was laughing so hard. So do yourself a favor. Follow this link, read, and then go purchase an Idaho Spud.
