Why was he marching in a Sanitation Worker's Strike? Was marching all he did? Obviously not since much legislation was passed due to the influence of he and his followers.
Do I agree with everything he did? No, but pretty close. His non-violent approach, his obedience to a "higher law" of justice than unjust laws...these are things to be emulated.
