It is time for our idiotic headline of the week

There are some things that should be known intuitively. There is no need for research to discover them.

For example; if you eat 10,000 calories a day and do not exercise, I do not need a study to realize you are going to weigh more than you should.

If you drive 100 mph at night with no headlights you are more likely to be involved in a serious accident than a person driving 35 mph with headlights.

There is really no need for a study. We know these things without needing to check. They are the height of obvious.

Apparently our schoolteachers are not that sharp.

It apparently required a study to "discover" that people who miss a lot of school end up having a hard time getting an education.

Suddenly those famous studies to see if cow flatulence is causing global warming seem pretty smart...

Seriously? This is in the "no shit, Sherlock!" category...but you already knew that.

But..but...but...but those studies are only putting a hard earned tax dollars to work!
