If you are anything like me, you are bad about stuff like...getting cards for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, Weird Al CD release parties and the like.
It isn't that I don't care...or even that I do not appreciate the gestures.
I just am horrible at them. I never feel like I can top whatever sentiment the card happens to present, but the very fact that it is not my sentiment but rather that of some random stranger for which I had the privilege of paying 5 bucks to pass on to someone else...well, the concept eludes me.
As a result, I am horrible at getting people cards for special occasions. Sure, it is a failing on my part...and unlikely to change.
Oddly, just today I finally got around to sending someone their Thanksgiving greeting. What is odd is that I am further behind in checking in with some other friends on their own holiday stuff. So I decided to check in on another friend and how their Halloween went.
This is a friend you may know and have as well, so I shall include the picture they sent me.

Oooooooh, awesome!
I suppose I am a Hallmark person but I like making funny cards myself, too.
