So here we are on another Monday...

It seems teh weather has turned. The cold is biting, the wind howling, the sun pointless and the rain fast approaching.

So what does it all mean?

Mostly that we are fast approaching the time of year when some numbskull thought it would be better for us to have light at 5 in the morning than at 5 at night. So soon we will roll back the clock, time will not be the time you think it is because now it is an hour earlier, and it will start getting dark at 4 o clock. Very exciting.

How about instead of rolling the clock back, we install a super-charged light over the state just to keep it light until...say...5:01?

Yeah, that should work. Just another helpful suggestion from a guy who is full of...ideas.

So this is what we have to look forward to! Yippee! I hate going off Daylight Savings Time, or going on, or whatever it is that makes it darker in the winter. What a bloody terrible idea. On that note, how about a cup of chocolate when we get back?

Personally, I love autumn, until the time changes. Then I'm just cranky. Cranky, cranky, cranky. Hey - where's MY chocolate invitation? Hmmmm?

Personally I love falling back because a)It means I get an extra hour of sleep one day and b) it puts on back on real time. Daylight savings is quite possibly the most stupefyingly pointless thing Congress ever did, and that is saying a lot.
