For example, I have taken to eating 13 licorice bites for breakfast...140 calories, and with a couple bottles of water, pretty filling.
Lunch is usually some sort of sandwich, maybe a few chips. Then I usually have about 1200 - 1400 calories to spend on dinner which is nice because I prefer to eat light in the morning and then eat a bigger dinner.
So tonight after work on my way to the Blazer game my plan was to eat at Chipotles. With their bragging about fresher, more organic ingredients, etc., I figured I would be good.
Think again. Our home made tacos run about 300 calories each. Then again, I PACK my taco with meat and cheese, so one or two of them is a pretty good size meal in and of itself. So I was figuring the rather small Chipotle tacos would be about 200 each since they are so small and so little meat and cheese.
Try again, Smurfy.
The tortilla is 90.
The cheese is 110.
The meat is 200.
400 calories for a tiny, tiny taco.
What? Seriously?
I made a judgment call. I went to Burger King. I had a Double Cheeseburger plain, a Cookie Dough Pie, and a small soda. 940 calories total. Or less than just the Chipotles Tacos.
I am so disillusioned.
That will teach me to think healthy!
And yes, for the health conscious...I know your theory is I should eat a large breakfast and a light dinner. Good for you. Have fun with that. I will lean on when I was a real athlete and needed those calories to repair my body. So ttttttthhhhhhhhbbbbbbbbbbbttttttttttt.
Glad I could show my true maturity.

Hey, I'm right there with you on the ttttttttthhhhhhhhhhbbbbbbbbttttt. I am never hungry for breakfast, and my whole teenage and adult life, I've said, "I'll eat when I'm hungry!" Whether it's midnight or whatever...and the good news is - voila! - scientists have finally PROVEN that a calorie is a calorie no matter when you eat it. (NO, really??)
But hats off to both of you for doing the healthy thing, because Mr. Riot Kitty and I want to see you around for a long time :)
