One Year

Today, July 7th, marks the one year anniversary. A year and a day ago there was, legally speaking, one of me, but when this happened one year ago, I became a half. Indisputably the inferior half...but nonetheless half.

The Goose and I have spent the last day and a half celebrating our first anniversary in a variety of ways that are not really standard...but they work for us. And we have been looking back a bit at the last year.

It has been a really good year for the most part. There was the one little hiccup that shall remain uncommented on lest my discussing my personal desire for improvement be somehow mistaken for a discussion on other people, so that one hour of my life shall remain out of bounds for now.

Other than that it has been an incredibly good year. Amazing the path we took to get here but looking back I don't know that I would have it any other way. We have learned much about each other and each day is just a little better.

I know, there is not a lot of depth to this post...basically just me saying how happy I am to have been married to this wonderful woman for an entire year and looking forward to decades together.
