A Frightening Tale

Last Saturday was our family reunion. And thus began a frightening tale. It all started with the picture above. That would be my Aunt Sharon, a very sweet and wonderful lady whom is a lot of fun. As you can see, she is taking a picture. Truth to tell...she is taking a picture of me. Ah, if only it were that simple. You see...she is taking a picture of me taking a picture of her...or perhaps I am taking a picture of her taking a picture of me. It all gets a bit existential. And worse.
You see, this is a picture of me taking a picture of her taking a picture of my cousin while he takes a picture of her. And...well...it gets worse. Sadly, these are the only 2 pictures on my camera.

Because then my cousin Tim, Sharon's son, took a picture. But not of me. Not of her. Not of us. No, it was much worse.

He took a picture of my picture of them taking each other.

Just think about that for a second...his is not a "real" picture...it is a picture of a picture of people taking pictures of each other. In many ways it is far cooler than those tired pictures in the halls of mirrors that go on forever. Sadly, my picture of his picture of my picture of Sharon and Cuz taking pictures of each other didn't turn out...but I think it says a lot about us that we tried it.

Yeah, that is all. I just thought it was fun how it developed. Get it? Pictures? Developed? Yeah, I thought it was dumb too.
