When you were growing up did you ever watch the show "The Smurfs"? If you bounce around my writing for long you will no doubt notice a tongue in cheek reference or forty as I randomly insert the word smurfing into it for no apparent reason. Actually, the reason is quite apparent...on the show they replaced a lot of words with "smurfy" and I simply adapted it to my own smurfy...err, nefarious ends. But hey, all is smurfy that ends smurfy.
But have you ever wondered why they decided to make the smurfs blue? Well, let's delve into that mystery, shall we?
It seems that color choice may not have been as random as it might seem. Oh, it is a smurfy enough color...but why not orange or purple or green?
Probably because people can actually turn themselves blue. How smurfy is that?
