Remember all the jokes about the vast number of Starbucks here, there, there, there, there, there...well, okay, so they weren't jokes, just observations of reality, but you get the point. Starbucks is ubiquitous. I am pretty sure they are in most carwashes just in case someone gets thirsty while getting waxed and shined.
In fact, there is really only one thing more common than the purveyors of gourmet coffee (made by overeducated, underemployed, egomaniacal "baristas"...no mere coffee providing technicians these, they are baristas, baby. No, I don't think it is ridiculous. Just saying) and that is Cricket Wireless.
They are EVERYWHERE. Stop into the mall? They have a store there. And a kiosk. And in a free-standing stand outside the mall. And in the parking lot. And in the little pseudo-strip mall across the parking lot. On your way from the mall to the strip mall you will have to wait for a bus with their ad on it. While standing next to a bench with a Cricket ad. They are everywhere.
Whenever you see a new strip mall being built, you ALWAYS see a Cricket going in. Or if some store closes down, what do they replace it with? Cricket.
I actually think Cricket is now more common than Starbucks. As much as I see Starbucks, as annoying as the frequency of their stores is, there is one thing they have never done. This morning, I am pretty sure that when I stopped at a stoplight, the guy came out to do my windshield...you know the ones, the guys that carry a squeegee and Windex, wash your window then demand a "tip" for their "service"...only instead of washing my windows, he installed a Cricket store on the roof. This is getting out of hand. Just saying...

It begs the question: how many cell phones can one person own? How many iced mochas can one uptight Riot Kitty consume? Well, I can answer the second question...
