Islam, a religion of peace and tolerance

Virtually every day, I am subjected to an expression that I do find to be the most offensive expression available today. People regularly blaspheme with phrases including the name of God and asking Him to curse various things. It is not something deliberate even...it is a casual thing, like saying "Hi"...i.e., "Hey, it has been a long time since I have seen you. Are you doing as well as I am?"

I wish that example was hyperbole. It isn't.

But you know what? I deal with it. People who use that particular phrase I do try to avoid as much as possible, but that is about the extent of my militant ism.

I am sure the Muslims are the same way. It is not as if they would demand death for someone for a hideous crime such as allowing their students to name a doll Muhammad or anything stupid like that...after all, Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. Shame on those who would say the Muslims are intolerant, or unfair to women, or will kill in the name of religion. Clearly you know nothing about Islam or the teachings of Muhammad.
