Sleep deprivation

Frederick Moelner was young and in trouble. Only 17, he was in a car crash serious enough to put him in intensive care. In a development very few of us will be shocked by, he was having difficulty sleeping. A particular irritant was the machine next to him which was making a lot of noise. So he unplugged it. The medical staff decided to plug it back in, deciding Moelner's sleep was not quite as important as the machine...mostly since it was the life support for his neighbor....
