I have, from time to time, written about some pretty stupid crimes. Stuff like the guy on trial for theft gaffing computers from the court-room, that sort of thing. And yes, I found them funny and laughed at them. Let me just emphasize, I laughed AT them, not WITH them. The same with the couple on trial for theft who tried the maneuver they were on trial for...in the lunchroom where the officers who caught them before were having lunch.
Memo to all stupid criminals; if you are A) incompetent and B) already on trial and C) IN THE COURTHOUSE then do not try to steal more stuff. Or if you do, don't steal a 3 dollar lunch...go for something valuable like computers.
Or 3 rolls of toilet paper. That should be worth 2 years of your life...of course, if my name was Butts I think there are really only two things I COULD steal...toilet paper or cigarettes
