Mike Goodhall and Heidi Loader thought the marriage was a good one. It should be...they spent 4000 pounds on the ceremony, largley because it was held in a romantic Carribean location. They took the trip, had the ceremony, returned home...and found out they are not married. There are many reasons this could be true...maybe the official wasn't licensed? Nope...he was. Maybe England does not recognize marriages performed in the Carribean? Nope, turns out they do. Maybe Mike used an alias? Yep...but not intentionally. Seems the clerk spelled his name Meke and therefore...he isn't married.
Good thing common sense took precedence over random stupidity, eh?
