Seems everyone today wants to rap. There was the famous Blondie rap, a song still replayed to this day on KGON, 107.5 and 97.1, to name three stations...despite it being hands down one of the worst raps ever. Unless, of course, you like poorly timed off key squallings, then it is a classic.

Rappers are "featured" by pop stars.

They are in commercials.

They are movie stars.

And people who aren't rappers try to be. Remember Rappin' Grannie from The Wedding Singer?

It is definitely something that has cross-over appeal. Why, even Lonely as a Cloud by William Wordsworth is now a rap...
