Gambling can be addictive. Even non-gambling could...it would be easy to argue I have an inordinate fascination with Texas Hold 'Em, although I like to think I do not shirk duties and responsibilities to play it. Then again, I don't play it for money, so who knows?
But how addicted would you have to be to, if you had a disabled husband, lock him in the car in sub-zero temperatures so you could play roulette?
Note to all would-be note-writers: if the situation you are writing the note about includes the phrase "Do not be alarmed. Do not call security" you may want to rethink what you are about to do...
