There was a classic Simpson episode in one of the first 6 or 8 seasons where Bart was acting as a daredevil. He was going to jump a local chasm when Homer, to convince him of the stupidity of it, does the jumnp instead. He fails, plunges into the canyon, and has to be airlifted out. As he is being raised up on the stretcher, it repeatedly bashes him into the canyon wall. It was pretty funny.
"Marlborough man Gavin Finch" might disagree. (Yes, that is how it refers to him. One can only assume the reporter kicked back on their desk, flask in one hand, cigarette in the other, reciting into their tape recorder their story)
You see, Gavin was topping a tree when he unsafely broke his leg. As he was suspended in the tree they elected to not lower him to the ground but rather helicopter him out. This would have been a better plan if the helicoptor had not then rammed him into a second tree. Something tells me that the Simpsons writers and I find more mirth in this than Gavin. Of course, if he is a true Marlborough man he will be back at it in no time...
