Every so often you will hear about someone who is having a hard time making ends meet and so they steal some food. Those cases, if accurate, I actually feel some sympathy for. The truth is, sometimes it IS hard to get by. Take, for instance, Morgan Conatser. He is having a hard time making ends meet. Oh, not so hard that he doesn't own a pick-up. And a leather jacket. And not so hard that he doesn't have his own place to live. But still...a hard time. So Morgan attempted to do what any of the rest of us would try if we were having a hard time making ends meet.
No, he didn't ask his boss for a raise.
No, he didn't get a second job.
He tried to hide a guitar in his pants as a means of stealing it.
Now, in my world, the shop was pretty good to him in not prosecuting since they caught him. And he is pretty good to them in repaying them for their kindness by stealing a wireless sound system. After all, it was only valued at around 200.
Criminals are so wise and kind and sweet and lovable. What a goob. Thanks, Morgan, thanks for nothing.
