Now here is cop work at its finest

Recently there was a huge controversy in Las Angeles over the closing of streets near the L.A. Airport for filming of scenes from the next movie in the Die Hard franchise. Part of the reason for the street closings was the necessity of explosions, gunfire, and so forth. Okay, I guess fair enough...and the city was paid a large amount of coin for the privilege.

But that is the nature of movies. To make a good one you need to film a variety of scenes. I had a little experience in making movies for a class project. I made one for the "Swiss Metropod" that if I ever figure out how to make in JPG form I will post up here. I made another one comparing the "funding shortages" schools allegedly face while miles of sidewalks are being constrcuted that run from a swamp to...well...nowhere.

One scene I made for that, my brother Fullur was kind enough to drive the highway while I filmed the sidewalk and the sticker bushes behind it to demonstrate the pointlessness of it.

In the Metropod movie there was some simulated combat. Little did we know...we could have been arrested for that, just like three teens making a movie for a class project were.

I am not sure where all the blame should lie...the neighbor who thought 3 15 year olds were making a scene so realistic it could be real? The Grandma allowing that to happen as evidenced by her being the one filming the scene? Or the idiots...err, police officers who arrested the girls. That'll teach 'em to try to do their schoolwork well.

Good job, police, you have done it again. Thanks for nothing. Idiots.

This reminds me of the Taco Bell employee who called the police when a customer tried to pay with a $2 bill.

They're burning with brilliance!
