Now, on the one hand, I might sound a bit hypocritical; after all, I have several times mentioned that my personal belief is Iran, China, Darfar...every country in the world has the right, in my opinion, to develop the weaponry they believe gives them the best security. Sure, the powers that are don't want it to happen...let's face it, if I can kill you from a mile away and you can only hurt me from 10', I have the advantage and don't want you to have it. Best way to keep you from gaining equality? Make it "illegal" for you to get what I have.
With that said, I don't WANT Iran to have a bomb. And that is different than saying they don't have the right. So call me a hypocrite if you do not see a distinction, and so be it. But my real point is this:
If enrichment would give them the power to build a nuke and "our" goal is to prevent them having a nuke, then it is NOT a non-issue...it is a very significant issue. You don't close the barn door after the horse left...an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...all the other cliches. Deal with it when it is a small problem and it never becomes a big problem. I equate saying "It won't help for ten years" with "If I put my head in the sand, I can't see them, so they don't exist."
Of course, the referenced link is full of other...uhm...questionable viewpoints in regard to the integrity of its statements. For instance, declaring Hamas has abided by their self-proclaimed cease-fire. Apparently if you use a bomb instead of a gun, you aren't firing...and apparently gun battles aren't firing...
Oh, and Hamas is NOT accepting of an Israel State, with or without the 1967 borders...they have explicitly stated that is MOSLEM land and cannot be ceded, taken by force, or transferred by any other means to kafir...the unbelievers. Make no mistake...this is Jihad for Hamas. They will accept death before defeat. And no changing of their mind yet exists.
