You are free to do whatever you want as long as you want to do whatever I tell you to do

Personally, I find this highly offensive and disgusting. If someone wants to not sell cigarettes or alcohol or tampons or sleds or aspirin or whatever else, they should have that right. If people don't like the mix and choose to not shop there, that should be their right as well. But telling a company they HAVE to sell a product which, in the view of many people, is morally offensive? That is way over the line. And it is not like many, many other places will not swarm in happily to take that business. Many people have no moral view one way or the other and still others regard it as a virtue. Forcing someone to sell it will never, in my eyes, be anything virtuous...nor forcing them to sell any other product. Once more the government has covered itself with shame and disgrace. Color me unsurprised.

Heil Hitler! Oh wait... what country is this again? What exactly is this... "free-dom" to which you refer?

On an amusing and somewhat related note, I recently heard a story about one of the major cities in New York refusing to allow Wal*Mart to build a store there, so Wal*Mart built there store about 2 miles outside the city limits. :P Now the next city over is getting all the tax revenues that having a huge retailer like Wal*Mart brings.
