What I mean is instead of laying anyone off, everyone went to 32 hours. This, oddly, is a move I appreciate...I would rather do that than see anyone else laid off. At the same time, we have to have coverage at work with too few people for too many hours so we have some strange schedules.
For example, today I work 3:30 until 12:30. That would be 12:30 AM, or just after midnight. Tomorrow I need to be back there at 9 am. It is my own fault...I saw a need for that to happen and volunteered for it without realizing how close together those two shifts were.
Then again, I would probably do it again since the other guy has kids, so I think it is important for him to have as regular a schedule as possible so he can see them, plus his Father in Law is very, very sick and he often needs to go tend to emergencies.
Still, I can foresee that for the near future, sleep and I shall not be close friends.
A Weasel on short sleep is not always a pleasant weasel.
I know, I know...neither is a Weasel on lots of sleep. TTtttttttthhhhbbbbbbbbtttttt.
Be that as it may, the changing schedules mean I will be struggling to stay on top of things such as reading what my friends write, commenting on it coherently, and so forth. Will still try to do so, but when you read stuff here, don't expect much and you shall not be disappointed. :-)
In other exciting news, PSU FINALLY offered the class I needed at nights this term (which, at the time, I could have done). I tried to sign up...my online access was blocked. Got it unblocked...and the class was full.
*sigh*
That was several weeks ago, so I may have already mentioned it. Just doing general cleanup here. And putting off cleaning up after the awesome song-writing party we had Saturday afternoon. Got a lot of good work accomplished, I think one song is about 90% complete now, just some tweaks on the chorus and we are good to go.
Not much more to say but will try to be more regular. Peace.

Glad you're not getting laid off, anyhow - I say argue with PSU. Tell them what happened!
I agree with the kat person above. It's always better that way. You should get them to make room for you.
That party was good times man! Sorry you won't be getting much sleep. I guess we'll have to start explaining our corn... uh, whitty jokes to you now.
You have a way with words...just in the first paragraph. Lovely imagery there. :) And I agree, awesome get together! LOVED the sunshine and the BBQ food, especially after you remembered to get some hamburger buns!!! Will be praying for your job to pick up!
You know, they have medicine to help keep you regular. Just saying. :)
