It is time for a Polish joke

How many cops does it take to discover where a Polish person lives?

Just one, but he has to speak Polish.

This is too funny to really make funnier. Cops thought they had caught a Polish scofflaw who had rung up over 50 different identities and violated traffic laws while living at each one of them. Prawo Jazdy kept showing documents with a variety of addresses.

Little did police know...this was up to 50 different people.

You see...Prawo Jazdy is Polish for "driver's license". So they really didn't catch anyone.

How do you prosecute that?
"So you saw Prawo Jazdy exceding the speed limit?"
"No, I saw the guy carrying Prawo Jazdy speeding."
"He was carrying a guy and speeding?"
"No, he had Prawo Jazdy in his pocket."
"Must be big pockets."

See what I mean? And it only gets worse from there. Nice police work, that.

Hahahahaha! The tiny bit o'Polish that I am is also laughing at that joke.

No joke: when my relatives the Crukinskis came to the US, some smart ass on Ellis Island shortened their last name to Crook.

They were mad as all get out when they found out what it meant!
