How do you arrest a Beaver?

Not sure if you have ever seen the "dam letter" which purports to be a real letter to the Minnesota enforcement division. Seems they had mailed a farmer about the illegal construction of a dam on his property. He wrote back explaining to them they needed to get a hold of the real dam builders...a family of beavers. Pretty funny letter because it really highlighted some of the excessive places some self-professed environmentalists go to.

Sadly, their excesses irritate a lot of us into being less environmentally conscious out of annoyance at them. When will people on all the various fringes learn they are harming their causes?

Anyhow, it happened again.

About 20 trees were found felled in a protected area. They were stacked, notched for removal...and the clumsy tree-cutters left a trail to where they were dragging the trees. For whatever reason, police refused to arrest the culprits. Something about beavers not knowing their actions were illegal.
