6) In high school, on a regulation 10' hoop I could do a legit 180 degree slam dunk.

4) In 5th Grade I tied for third in the State in the official State Spelling contest. The only word I missed in the County portion of the contest was "silhouette" which I knew how to spell but had never heard pronounced.
3) From 4th through 6th Grade I was on the Condon Elementary chess team that went to State. I never lost a game in either the County or State competition and our Fourth Place finish at state in 5th Grade was the highest ever recorded by a team from St. Helens. I was fortnuate to be on the team since Mr. Chaffin, the chess "instructor" really wanted a girl on the. He "guided" her in the first game (replace the word "guided" with "played the game for her"). After she (read "he") lost, he insisted we replay the game. Then he had her play someone else.
2) I am a multiple time published author of poetry...an art form I despise.
