To crib from Abbott & Costello...

There is an old routine of such cheese that one can only assume the author did us all a favor and offed himself. Be that as it may, I am familiar with it from an exchange between band leader Ray Noble and the show star, Edgar Bergen whom you may remember as being the ventriloquist behind Charlie McCarthy. It is a horrible, unfunny routine that goes something like this:

Noble: "Why should you always take your girlfriend with you when you go to Alaska?"
Charlie (smacks lips): "Uhm....why?"
Noble: "Because that's how you get to Gnome (know 'em)!"


I warned you. It wasn't funny. About the only way it could be less funny, in fact, is if someone reversed it, stole a Gnome and took THAT to Alaska. Or mountain climbing. Or surfing. Or...oh, wait...someone did that. I just love the photo album. Like, hey, I am going to commit a theft AND DOCUMENT MY CRIME. Fortunately, Kelso has a sense of humor.
