Hillary throws Obama under the bus and claims she would not have sat under the preaching of his minister. As if she has said something good or intelligent instead of cowardly and worthless.
News flash. We are not always going to agree with our leaders, whether political, financial, or spiritual. And if your answer to anyone who says something you disagree with is to take your (figurative) ball and go home. Yes, that is the answer...
When someone says something that is wrong and does so publicly there are many choices open to us. For someone who wants to "lead" the "free world" as President of the United States, one answer NOT open is just leaving. You need to take a stand, set an example. Simply laughing it off as a "crazy uncle" as Obama allegedly has done is not the correct answer. Neither is leaving.
Someone needs to be the voice of truth and justice. Someone needs to be the one speaking up and saying, "This is unacceptable behavior and conversation." Someone needs to explain and show why the things said are wrong.
Simply saying, Oh, I would go to another church...wow, what a cowardly way out! You are not worthy of being the leader of this or any other country. And simply saying it as a way of making political hay when your opponent is struggling is hardly the way to demonstrate strong leadership. That will lead to another "convenient" discovery of some alleged crime and massive bombing to cover it up like your husband did...allegedly...which you then visited "under sniper fire" by which you mean...well, that it was a good story with just one slight flaw which would be the completely fabricated nature of it. Honesty and integrity run in the family...
Of course, the same goes for every one of us as far as how to deal with falsehoods or ungodly rhetoric from the pulpit. If you are in a place where this is practiced maybe you should spend some time in Scripture preparing the case for correction and then approach the "leadership" with that research in hand and have a discussion on why they should change. Seems like that would actually accomplish something, even if that something is "merely" you standing up and doing the right thing.
Ralph Wiggum for President, 2009
Just sayin'

*Exactly!*
That's the problem with politics...anyone with integrity to speak out gets trashed by someone else with a differing opinion, so we have a bunch of yes men (or women) walking around. I'm all for Ralph Wiggum!! haha
