Mom's Nash Rambler

Mom had a Nash Rambler. She loved it. She referenced it often. And it was small, unlike the boat Grandma had. Not sure what the make and model were...I just know it had an anchor instead of brakes and the blinker...click click click click...it was loud enough to still haunt my dreams. It was loud enough to drown out the Ice Cream song on the little ice cream trucks. It was loud enough to have people make earth quake checks when it rolled by. That there blinker was so loud I just assume it was run by an apparatus that was itself larger than Mom's Nash Rambler.

Anyway, there was a song that used to come on the radio from time to time that Mom just loved. It referenced the Ramblers. It was a pretty funny song. Oh, it didn't start out funny...kind of slow and dull. In fact, once when I played it for the Goose at the beginning she kind of looked at me funny, possibly because I was standing on my head to see if my nose hairs would fall out, and asked if it was SUPPOSED to be that slow. Well...yes.

So please, stick with this one. 3 minutes of your life, 2 of which will be worthwhile. The first one is pretty much wasted...except it is the set-up for the joke. Enjoy.
