PCS is a pretty scammy, rotten company in the first place. Their income revolves around the questionable...at best...practice of watching parking lots and posting fake tickets on windshields which people then pay.
They got caught. By two counties. And all their fake tickets they now must refund...assuming, of course, that people know about the case, submit their claim, and do it in the next 5 months.
But the real kick in the shorts is this: "In addition to requiring the reimbursements, the settlement prohibits the company from threatening any action against a vehicle unless they are allowed to do so under state law."
What? In addition to having to pay for being slimy, immoral thieves, now they have to actually OBEY THE LAW, TOO?
How unfair can these counties be to just one company?
