I don't ask much, but I might ask this

Being devoid of all substance passing for brain matter, it seems unlikely I shall ever need a brain surgery. However, should the stars so align that such a procedure be necessary, there are a few things I might do in preparation.

Such as, you ask? Oh, you didn't? Well, too bad for you because I am telling you anyway.

For starters, I would make sure my affairs were in order so that, in the unfortunate outcome of my passing from this world, those left behind should not be overwhelmed.

Actually, that might be the second thing I do. The first would be to find a hospital that had not made two prior mistakes in these surgeries, operating on the wrong side of the head. Because I can understand being the first or second time something like that happened...but three times the same hospital operating on the wrong side of the head? That would be ridiculous. I am just saying...

I can understand why they have these problems, though. Think about how many sides there are to a head. There is the inside, the outside, the front side, the back side, the top side and the underside.

Oh, sure, you could argue they knew to eliminate the out and inside as the "side to be operated on", the front side holds the face, the underside holds the neck, so we are down to only giving them the left side, back side, top side, and right side to work with. Blind luck tells you they have a 25% opportunity to select the correct side. And if they, oh, I don't know...shave and/or mark the area to be operated on, that chance might climb as high as 50%. Good to see our best and brightest are (not) able to come up with some method to distinguish between left and right.

Remind me never to get surgery in a teaching hospital.
