Getting a leg up on a strange story

First, it was lost in a plane crash.

Then it was kept in a bbq smoker.

Then it was lost in storage...repossessed by people who had never possessed it before. I am not real sure how THAT works...but it happened. I would have thought to possess again, which is the meaning of repossess, you would have to possess it in the first place...apparently, for the first time today, I am wrong again.

Then it was considered a possible piece of evidence in crime.

Then it was passed to other caretakers.

Then the purchaser of it from the people who had never possessed but still repossessed it tried to repossess it from the caretakers.

And the original owner wants it back.

Confused yet?

Wood lost his leg in a plane accident. No word yet on how ironic it is for Wood to have Wood in Wood's wood leg.

But Wood would need help since he could not pay his bills. So his stuff in storage got auctioned off. He wants his leg back. Whisnant, the guy who bought the smoker...and please tell me nobody is now using that thing to bbq...wants to make money off it by charging people to look at it. Like a low-rent OMSI, I guess.

In a sad, horrid story, I think the saddest and most horrible thing is Whisnant charging people to look at an empty bbq smoker. At least put a leg of lamb on it...
