It takes a thief to catch a thief

I always thought if I were to engage in a criminal career I would pretty much stick to preying on criminals. After all, if you steal their cocaine, who are they going to call? the cops? I would think not.

Of course, there would be the potential consequences from it..you know, little things like death and dismemberment. Which makes it seem wiser to pick on less lethal people.

Take, for example, the scheme devised by three pretty slick girls. They would hang out at a store. They were excellent floorwalkers, often catching shoplifters. However, being deviants themselves, they did not report these shoplifters. Instead they stopped them outside the store and blackmailed the shoplifters into giving their ill-gotten gain to the girls...pretty good scam.

And it actually makes me a little bit sad they got caught.... how much you want to bet they get prosecuted more severely than the shoplifters? Maybe the store should just higher them, they are actually pretty good at it.
