Being a single parent is hard. I do not envy them their task. I think the change in morality...I would argue drop, but most people wouldn't...has led to a lot of troubling relationship issues and single parenting is one of those. Of course, if you want your child to not experience growing up in a single parent home you can just rent a partner...
No word on whether bed-sharing is part of the equation. Or screaming arguments...

How about renting a cat that doesn't scream at dish towels and pee on the floor? Do you offer that service as well? :)
