So to set the scene let's clear a few facts up:
- dude puts on ski mask outside store to have picture taken
- this gets him arrested
- I would assume it got him convicted since he performed community service
Now, normal people at this point say, "Hey, that was stupid, the law I mean...but I know what will happen should I decide to wear a ski mask again in a public place. I am violating a law (albeit one I think lacks intellectual backing) and I know most people are going to think the way the initial caller thought; people wearing face-concealing ski masks in public areas are probably up to no good. So I won't do that again and thus I will stay out of trouble."
Cool, case closed, lesson learned, streets or toilets or whatever a little bit cleaner.
Or you could do what Kevin Lambert did; get together a group of people to commit to wearing face covering ski masks around all the time.
Good thinking there, Kev. Rhodes Scholar are we? But only in the Special Olympics, one would assume...
