THis is what I meant when I said "Go Fly a Kite"

Okay, so it has been years since I have used that phrase. It used to be quite common. When somone suggested you do something you did not wish to do the standard answer was "Go fly a kite."

It never really made sense. Isn't that recreational and fun? Well...not if it involves "strings made of wire or coated with glass", gunfire, and 11 deaths...

Now THAT is a kite festival...

Soccer fan, my sincerest apologies. I always thought you were over the top in your fandom. I was wrong. You got nothing on these kite fans. (and for all you Portlandites who get the commercial reference...) these kite men don't even like frogs!
