I hate it when I tell a joke...then find out it isn't

I have often joked about the forthcoming nuptials. "Yeah, we are going to put some cardboard cut-outs up there. We will be in the back room playing cards. At the appropriate moment I will lean over and say "I do". It will be a great wedding."

I can tell this joke because I have a great fiance who "gets" me and finds it funny.

Can you imagine if someone really did that?

Oh, wait...someone did.


I guess it isn't as funny as I thought it was...or maybe it was funnier...
