Yet another reason to hate government

That power is particularly important this year, because House Democrats have vowed to offset tax cuts and some spending increases with spending cuts or tax increases of equal value.


Offsetting spending increases: always good. There is so much fluff in the budget that things are ridiculous. Offsetting tax cuts: always bad. There is so much fluff in the budget that things are ridiculous.
Taking just a couple months to get loose with "We promise to raise taxes": yet another reason to campaign against every Democrat just as much as I do the Republicans.

When is this country going to figure it out, get away from the two party system and instead of the trash governing us now actually pick some people who care about the people, who instead of making stupid-@!#$% statements like "Hey, let's raise taxes, that is always a good idea" get off their worthless @#%^ and do some things to help the country.

It has been years since I voted a "straight party ticket" (if I ever did) and this did nothing to change my mind. I think you will find my votes going to whoever challenges whoever is in office regardless of who it is. Or more votes for various independant parties.

Man I hate politicians. All of them.
