Friday Night live blogging 1/5/07

Playing at a fun table tonight. First hand, straight draw. Two nimrods keep reraising each other. I got tired of it after their fifth reraise and went all in on an open ended straight draw. They both folded.

so I am up 500. Have not played a hand since then.


K/10 off suit; miss the flop, 4th street, river, fold

9/4 suited. Fold. board pairs tens, 4th street would give me 4 to the flush, would have ended with 9 high.

a/2 off, in BB, someone raises, I call. Bottom pair, same guy raises 160, fold. 3 people go all in, the guy with pocket rockett loses to a full house.

j/3 off, raised to 20 pre-flop. call. Miss the flop with pairs 6's & adds a king. Fold.

A/8 off. call. flop adds 2 to the flush, call 10, 4th street gives possible straight. Call 30. Board pairs the 3s, fold. someone wins with 4/3 boat.

A/4 off, call. Board pairs 8's, king...fold. Then board pairs the kings.

whatever. going to a tourney. 10 man no limit.

start in 6th position, J/Q off. call 100 pre-flop. 3 stay in. Pair myu Queen on the flop. Same guy bets 100. We both call. 4th street gives me trips. He raises, I reraise to 300. Other guy folds, he raises all-in. I call. He has 5/8 suited...that nothing on the board touches.

bb, 3/7, check/fold. someone bets 480, guy that won prior hand goes all in. called. Q/A suited vs pocket 9s. Pairs the ace to win.

5/10 off in the small, fold. A/3 off. 2 to the flush, 2 to the straight, call 100. 4th street is ugly, fold.

Q/J off, call. raises to 100, call. possible straight, he raises 10...to go all in. rivers me with his own straight.

7/3 off. fold. he goes all in again with a pair of 2s and goes out when someone pairs a queen.

2/6 off. I am in 3rd, one guy is all in,

7/10 off, someone all-in pre, fold. he had pocket 3s, is called by queen jack, they hit the straight.

A/10. call against possible straight on 4th & river him with ace.

Call an all in on open straight. he wins with paired 4s. down to 4th place.

getting blinded, have to get aggressive, call the paired jacks when third place guy goes all in. he also has the jack...and a better kicker. I get 4 to the flush and am crippled. Chip leader raises all my blinds and I am getting nothing so with 530 left and A/7 IO go all in...and he catches the Jack on 4th street to put me out.
