now how could this be anything but a great idea?

While I myself have not been hunting since I was 13 or 14, I have no problem with it. At the same time, while I seldom volunteer on behalf of the blind, I respect those who do and appreciate some of the advocacy measures they have gotten accomplished. I think it is great they can take seeing eye dogs anywhere. That is as it should be.
What's the connection? Well, from the great state that brought you a shooting by a vice president, now we get to combine these great activities...being blind and hunting. I wonder why nobody thought of this wonderful idea before?
I mean, what are the odds having legally blind people roaming around with loaded weapons and having accidental shootings occur? No better than having accidental shooters by accomplished hunter-come-vice presidents, famed basketball coaches (Bobby Knight rings no bells) or any other...I foresee no tragedies in the future of Texas hunters.

And you wonder why presidents from Texas are a disaster!
