Yes, I hear voices

If you tell people you hear voices in your head, they get nervous. If you say there are lots of them, they get even more nervous. And if you can put names to those voices, different names, genders, and personalities, they think you are crazy. All these things are true of me, but I am not crazy. Every day I hear voices in my head. Voices of people I can't see. People I normally have never even met. And to be honest, I think it is a lot more common than people are willing to admit to. After all, if I can't see them, how likely is it they can see me? But they are responding to my questions and comments. They interact with me just as much as I do with them. So if I am crazy, so are they.
You probably have the same phenomenon in your life. I am willing to bet you hear voices in yuor head at least once a day. It just so happens for me it is hundreds of times per day. And I don't care if it ever stops. I like the voices. They make me wiser and help me do my job better. I would even call some of them my friend.
Hear that? Here that ringing? It is time to talk to another voice in my head. Excuse me while I pick up the phone...








by the way, I am assuming everyone gets the joke...that phone calls are voices in your head...if not...well...then clearly it wasn't funny :-)
