In other surprising news, it is expected to rain at some point in the next week in Oregon. Oh, and this just in. Senator Keenedy ALSO expected to vote against the nomination.
C'mon people...look at the numbers. There are 44 Democrats. Expect between 40 and 44 no votes. There are I think a couple less than 56 Republicans (I think there are a couple independants) so expect between 52 and 56 votes in favor. This is not rocket science. They are not voting on his qualifications to adjudicate, they are voting on party lines and the social philosophies therein. That is news in the same vein as saying it is expected to be warm tomorrow in Mexico City.
Do we really need all the posturing and announcements and so forth? Quit wasting our time.

Hey! Finally "The Clinton" says something I can agree with. He hasn't displayed dedication to changing the law as a judge. He has shown dedication to applying it as it was intended. What a concept huh?
