For example, she causes me problems with my finger. Specifically, the fourth finger of my left hand, the one commonly known as a ring finger.
See, with the job that I have, I really can't afford to wear my wedding ring at work. It would be destroyed in no time flat. One guy wears this titanium one very similar to one the Goose and I looked at and you should see all the scratches and dents on it.
If I were to wear the soft, intricate one I wear away from work, it would be destroyed in like a week. So I can't wear it at work, really.

And since I spend so much time at work it means I often forget to wear it even when not at work. So I often wear it just once or twice a week, sometimes less often than that.
This is a problem, because when I do wear it, I am able to twist it on my finger when I am thinking about her...which is often.
I feel so blessed in the wife I married. Oh, sure, there are occasional issues...we don't necessarily see eye to eye on every issue, but we work them out and move on with our lives and it is a beautiful thing. Getting past things, knowing you can work with someone instead of against someone, knowing you can find ways to solve the seemingly unsolvable...The problems aren't too big, but the working together...it is a really, really cool thing and enhances our lives.
Okay, I can't really speak for her. Maybe she hates it. Maybe it makes her miserable. I doubt it, but it is possible. Still, I can say it enhances my life. Every day we are married adds that much more meaning and richness to the relationship and makes me that much more grateful that I get to spend my life with this awesome person.
So when I can't wear my ring, I don't get those stolen moments just to reflect on the awesomeness that is married life with the Goose. And that is a sad thing. So she needs to stop being so sweet and cool so I don't have to miss wearing my ring. That seems to be the only solution.

Darth Weasel, are you being sentimental? How sweet.... and how lucky you two are.
Awwwwwwwwwwww! I know, Darth being sentimental! You two both live in Portland, so I suppose we could actually all meet!
I was trying to be funny. *sigh* I missed again. So I will have to go deeper into the twisted vault. Fortunately, that is an easy thing to do for me...
How sweet honey. The Goose feels the same way. I often forget to wear my ring. I got out of the habit during CNA clinicals as I didn't want to get germies on my ring. Now I always forget to wear it. And I love it!!!:(
But not as much as I love my darthy pooh. :) LOL.
It may have been sentimental, but at least it had a ring of truth to it!
Never argue with your wife, just dicker.
How romantic...and I think the "only" solution isn't likely to happen. :) Very happy for ya DW! (just a thought, that could stand for DarkWing! Duck that is. :) )
