Riot Kitty tagged me and, in a switch, I am actually going to do it. What is it you ask. Oh, you didn't? Well, too bad...here it is. 

1. You've got to post a link from the person who tagged you.
2. List 8 things that you know about on your chosen subject. You get to choose the subject.
3. You don't have to tag anyone but you can if you want. If you do, let them know on their blog that they've been tagged.

Well, as for who to tag...if you feel like doing it, consider yourself tagged. If not, then....well....party pooper. 

8 things about Mountain Dew

8) Reputed to have more sugar than any other soda

7) Made by Pepsi Co, one of those companies virtually always being boycotted by someone for something. Other than Mt. Dew and Dr. Pepper, their sodas SHOULD be boycotted. It's a flavor thing.

6) Their  "Do the Dew" ad campaign was brilliant. It somehow convinced people that performing death-defying stunts that could severely injure or kill someone required consuming a high-sigar, high-calorie, awesome tasting soda. 

5) When they re-designed the look of their cans, they went from having the best packaging on the market to the worst. 

4) Despite the name it is not, in fact, Dew found on a Mountain and then canned and bottled. I know, big surprise...that is why I saved it for number four. More big surprises in store.

3) I have been known to choose eating destinations based on whether or not they serve Mt. Dew

2) I have been mis-spelling Mt. this entire post;it is actually "Mtn" as opposed to Mt." The real surprise is that someone cares about that little factoid.

1) The actual name of the drink shall now be revealed. Yes, it is known as "Mtn Dew" but it is better known by its correct name, "Sweet nectar, a veritable drink of the gods."
