While I do think the Metropod post was hilarious, after careful inspection I think the kick stand thing fell flat. (HA! that is the best joke in the entire post...except it is in a different one...) so I decided to afflict my loyal readers with another, hopefully funnier bit.
Then I thought better of it. After all, how can I write what is funny when all around us love is being destroyed? I mean, who hasn't felt the pain of Dennis Doyle (Simon Pegg) in Run, Fatboy, Run (2007) or Ted Stroehman (Ben Stiller) in There's Something About Mary (1998) when their dearly beloved (ex) girlfriend is about to marry someone else? People go to tremendous lengths to stop their formerly beloved one from marrying someone else. They will fight dragons (Enchanted, 2008, and Shrek 2001) break through airport security (Love, Actually, 2003), or steal a bus at gunpoint and careen madly across the city in a high-speed chase to stop the wedding at the last second...oh, wait...that one wasn't a movie.
Yet.
