A few times in our lives we come across unusual situations where it is hard to decide what to do. When Mom was in hospice we knew she would die "soon", but after a week or two you wondered if soon meant minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months. Do you go out for coffee or just hang around? Hard to say.
Not to be too morbid, but what would you do if, say...your friend died while you were there. What do you do? Sneak out quietly and let someone else handle it? Call the morgue? The Police? Go Weekend at Bernies on him by putting him in an office chair, wheeling him down to the check-cashing place and trying to cash his check? Oh, wait...that's been done.
