My Cry for Revolution

Our government has been getting more and more abusive for several decades. Under the justification of war, they instituted direct taxation in the form of the income tax, albeit with promises it would end shortly. The clock is ticking, dudes.

They have attacked personal responsibility and rights with programs such as social security, welfare, etc. in which they take our money and redistribute it on their own schedule.

They give away BILLIONS of dollars to other nations while our own citizens often go unprovided for.

They have invited in foreign powers, we must pay for their quartering and subject ourselves to their judgment in the form of the United Nations.

All of these things are things that men once risked their possessions and even their lives to defeat. In fact, in reacting to these type of things they once insisted,

...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it,...


In the name of progress we have destroyed the family.

In the name of progress we have eliminated morality.

In the name of progress we justify liars, thieves, adulterers and fornicators in our highest offices.

It is time for a change. It is time for people to stand up and tell the government enough is enough. It is time for government to look out for the best interests of the people, not their own power base and pocket book. It is time for we the people to take back our rights and insist the government do what it was designed for...protect and serve, not rule.

After all, it was our own founding fathers who insisted we have the right to carry weapons specifically so when the government got out of control we could overthrow it and install a government that understood the proper relationship between consent to govern and their ability to govern.

I am not calling for Revolution...but I do think it is time for our Presidents, Senators, Representatives, Governors, Mayors, Judges, and policemen to start doing their duty and stop harming their constituency.
