Here we go again...

A couple months ago there was a real rash of bizarre smugglers...the woman caught when her dress was "splashing" who was smuggling koi through the airport, the woman whose coat was flying who was smuggling parrots through the airport, the guy whose bag was squirming who was smuggling snakes through the airport...seems like there were 3 or 4 others. Then it died down. We had not hear any of that stuff...well, a couple days ago there was the guy smuggling snake skins, but those weren't live animals.

It was kind of sad, really. Did people suddenly stop loving animals so much that there was no point to smuggling? Or did they just start using their brains? Or, instead of having stuff that splashed and squawked and wriggled did they just switch to more sedentary animals?

For instance, iguanas rarely move. So if you could hide an iguana on your person it seems likely you could smuggle one safely through an airplane. I mean, really, how could that go wrong? About the only way you could get caught would be if the iguana randomly decided to peak out of your bra...

Oh, those iguanas. Sigh. I've had the same problem SO many times!
