Uh...what were we thinking?

That is my Mom when she was younger. I guess I was a bit younger too...this picture is from 1973. I was 2. It seems we were getting ready for Uncle Ken to marry the lady who would become Aunt Jeanine.

It was the first ceremony my Dad executed. Dad has always thought of himself as a comedian. And in the preparations, he was joking around about it being a funeral.

Fortunately, Ken & Jeanine had a sense of humor because he slipped up during the ceremony and called it a funeral there, too....
