The Sound of Screaming

The movie The Sound of Music (1965) has held up well, maintaining popularity for over 4 decades. Generations have gorwn up to the singing of Julie Andrews. The Simpsons have parodied it. Numerous troupes have staged it as a play. And Salzburg, Austria has had a lot of tourism from it. So much so that now you can watch it there...24 hours a day...7 days a week...on the same channel. A channel that does nothing but play the Sound of Music over...and over...and over....and over....and over....and over....and over....and....


that ain't the sound of music you hear...it is the sound of screaming
